Those are tubes the push rods go through. The TP avoided the bends and restrictions in the ports around the push rods by going right through them.

Has this been run on an engine? Does it seal? Does it require valve cover modifications?

It has not been run, but the guy who did the work was pressure testing it as he was finishing the welding. It shouldn't require valve cover modifications.

Has it been mounted on an engine and checked for squareness and correct angles? This looks to have been a major undertaking. I saw some pictures on another site and it has been changed dramatically. It looks like a stock valve covers lip will not clear where the plenums come up for the carbs.

Well, cobrarkc it sounds like no matter what anyone says you have your preconceptions. I'm not looking to sell it that bad to argue opinions; this is a high quality part that was prepped to go on a high dollar vintage works race engine, where a block and heads were supplied for mock up during the work. After all the effort, a set of the correct aluminum high riser heads were found and the TP parts were set aside. Hard core enthusiasts interested in working out a deal are welcome to email. Thanks

I am just trying to get enough information about this manifold because you obviously are looking for good money. Don't you think that it is fair since this is not a mass produced product. I don't think anyone would buy something without find out as much as they could about it.
