Inroduction: Probably the nicest Contemporary Cobra ever built. CCX33863 was built and is owned by a discerning California Business man that in 1995 wanted the finest Cobra that money could buy. Only the best Components, Engine, Drive train and Craftsman would suffice.
Chassis: Contemporary 427 SC Roadster, after a thorough review the Contemporary 427 was selected for its Original 427 Shelby like Design with 4” extra thick wall tubular frame that was designed to handle maximum horsepower with the “open engine compartment that is a good fit to the large headed “cammer”. The fully independent coil over suspension, Shelby CSX3000 like performance and the excellent reputation of Contemporary Classic Motor Car Company all played an important role in the Contemporary Selection
Installation: Specialty Cobra of California performed the build in their Bermuda Dunes, Ca facility. Known for their excellent work and high level of Customer Satisfaction Specialty Cobra completed the build in late 1995.
Engine: 427 SOHC with dual fours was purchased from Performance Associates in late 1995. Performance Associates is the late Less Ritchey Company that until recently was operated by his son, Randy Ritchey. Performance Associates was known as one of the top SOHC Ford houses in the Country. This particular engine includes:
• Blue Printed,SOHC 427 producing 650 Plus horsepower
• Original.Cammer Dual Four intake manifold with two carburetors.
• Engine Dress up package
• Polished Intake Manifold, Polished and Highlighted Valve Covers, polished Front
Cover, Chrome water pump and Pulleys, Chrome Alternator and Brackets.
• The Engine has 343 Miles
Transmission: Blue Printed Ford Top Loader with Hurst Linkage and Shifter
Suspension: All Jaguar Suspension, Coil Over Shocks, Jag XKE Steering, Wilwood Brakes, Vented Front Rotors, heavy duty front sway bar, 3.31 Rear Differential Ratio with power lock
Interior: Smith Gages, Lucas switches, 100% Wilton Wool Carpet including rear Bulkhead, Connelly Hides- Ferrari Saddle leather, 3” Competition style Lap Belts.
Accessories: Polished Aluminum hood Liner, Polished Aluminum Fire Wall, Engine oil cooler, Polished and Highlighted Differential
, Aluminized headers, Chrome Side Exhaust , Complete polished Wheels,

I've seen this beauty in person some time ago in a shop Palm Springs - quite a stunning car in person, the photos don't do it justice. Should might reverse the head-on photo as it appears to be a right-hand-drive car. Very nice!
