Description: This is a Backdraft BDR RT3. It is in my opinion best looking cobra replica. It very closely resembles the original and although it's not the most exact replica available I think the looks and the proportions of these cars result in a ultimately better looking car but that's a matter of opinion. It does have a great advantage over any other replica though as it's the most spacious of them all so unlike others it will fit the taller drivers.

The car is located in Kirkland, WA. It has a little over 2,000 Miles on it so power-train is really like new. I just had the car thoroughly inspected and everything is in outstanding shape.

We are in it for more money than I care to admit but we will let it go for a steep loss at 52,000 or something around that ballpark.

Highlights:

* 4 wheel independent BMW suspension.

* Ford SVO 351W engine bored and stroked to 427 cubes. Dyno test results are 483hp and 534lb ft of torque.

* Tremec TKO 5 speed trans.

* Beautiful tri-stage PPG wineberry candy paint job with white stripes that absolutely "pops" in the sun. An it is in perfect condition no scratches, chips, dings or dents.

* Custom black interior which includes some unique cobra logos embroidered in the seat backs and e-brake lever and a "carbon fiber look" dash cover.

* Optional remote oil cooler and filter installed

* Gilmore billet drive pulleys that look incredible and provide the perfect amount of "whine" to turn heads

* MSD ignition box. distributor and coil

* Ceramic coated headers

* B. F. Goodrich tires that are like new and wrapped around the original cobra style aluminum wheels

* 4pt racing harnesses

* Adjustable seats

* Cd player with Bluetooth

* Optima battery

* Clear l. e. d taillights and marker lights

* Projection style headlamps

Lowlights:

* The gauges are not 100% accurate. The speedometer is off by around 5mph. And the fuel gauge it's off by around a quart so when it says it's empty you still got about quart of a tank left and when it's full it will say it's at 3/4. This might be easy to fix but in all honesty it's so minor that I just learned to live with it and never cared to have it fixed.

That's it that all I know is wrong with the car otherwise it's perfect!

Like Superformance, backdrafts are not a kit car by definition the are a turnkey car that comes assembled from the factory with your selection of power-train and transmission which in my opinion is great because there are no worries as to what corners might have a particular builder cut while building the car as is the case with Factory Five. Backdraft racing cars are all built at very high quality standards.

They are very solidly built and the handling and ride quality it's unparalleled in the replica cobra world. Backdraft cobras are based on BMW chassis and suspension, they share brakes, haflshafts, control arms etc with the M3 but at less than 2,500 ponds of weight the handling is and ride quality of this car are amazing. The ride is sport car stiff yet extremely comfortable. While Superformance might arguably be a more luxurious alternative, backdraft cars mean business they are built as a race car from the get go and with similarly skilled drivers and power to weight ratios I have seen backdrafts beating superformance at the track and autocross all day long.

The coolest thing about this car though is the engine. This particular cobra is powered by a very special 351W that is bored and received a deck plate and deck to increase the engine's displacement to 427 cubic inches. Dyno test results are 483rwhp and 534lb ft of torque and at the curb weight of this car it should come as no surprise that it's extremely crazy scary fast but to take things to a whole new level this car has a 160hp NOS brand nitrous fogger system with 2 bottles. It's awesome fun and a very safe kit for the occasional burst of power. And the sound is just amazing. God I love this car...

I can tell you that it's for sure faster in a straight line than my 2005 SRT10 viper it beats it every time and it also gets more attention.

We are open to negotiation to some extent but I can tell you that we would rather keep the car forever than let it go for cheap. So offers that are not at least within the ballpark will not be considered.

I have pretty much all of the receipts and all the history of what went in to produce this dream car, even a couple of car show trophies that it has acquire and it will all go with the new owner.

If you are anything like me, a cobra is one of those cars that you just have to own at least once in your lifetime and this is your chance. You'll have a blast driving this great performing American icon. It is a very high quality car with lots of attention to detail. Get it now because if it doesn't sell now we will likely keep it forever
