For sale are 2 thoroughly rebuilt SW 240A-12 fuel pumps. Each has been 100% dismantled, inspected, cleaned, polished and re-assembled.
The body was stripped of the original tarnished finish, and powder coated the proper color for a durable and lasting appearance.
All external bare metal components have been hand-polished and powder coated with clear powder to prevent tarnish and rusting. This includes the 6 screw heads on the top of the pump.
The many internal pieces were individually evaluated and cleaned, including the sometimes troublesome switch.
Each of the (10) gaskets in a pump has been renewed with a modern replacement gasket that is E10 and E15 fuel compatible. (NOS units currently being offered for sale typically still contain 40 to 55 year old gaskets, that time may have taken a toll on and are not rated for today's fuel)
The pumps have been mounted on a test stand and run with fuel for 3 hours to establish reliability. During the testing they were load-cycled to resemble actual use conditions.
