Description: I am posting this item on eBay for $1 with no reserve because I honestly have no idea as to its value. If the eBay link I am posting doesn't work it may be because the auction doesn't actually start till tonight at 6:30 pm PST. This is an original 1960's vintage Holman Moody 4 weber intake setup removed around 1978-79 from a Ford Cobra with 427 side oiler med riser engine in an attempt to tame the car down a bit . The carbs are all matching number and are the original early 48IDA Italian units that came with the manifold. All the linkage and fuel lines are present and in great shape. All the carbs look to be mint without any external damage, dings, dents or wear or missing parts other than one non matching bowl drain plug. 3 are hex head , one is Allen) there is no rust on any of the carbs metal parts and they look to be in amazing shape for their age. The manifold shows no welds or damage of any kind. There is no corrosion or pitting around water ports or on any mating surfaces. It is completely unported and unmolested in any way. this complete set up was in perfect working order when removed. I'm sure the carbs will need freshening after a sit of this length. I don't believe Holman moody made this intake for any other heads but the mid riser but please verify this yourself before you bid because I am not an expert. I also called and actually spoke with Lee Holman himself and described in great detail the markings on this setup and he verified without a doubt that it was a genuine 1960's piece. They stopped making them completely around 1970 and Any later repops of this intake are simply blank and do not have any holman moody markings. The intake comes with the original velocity stacks with original remove able rubber caps with debris screens and the original rubber dust covers that pop over the top of the stacks to seal them when stored, another complete set of rubber caps with screens, along with a set vintage K&N filters with cast aluminum bottoms with chrome tops. The filter bases have the K&N logo crudely cast into them with along with an early primitive looking checkered flag. The chrome filter lids are the only thing I cleaned up as they had about a 1/4 inch of dust on them. I am selling it as found and barn fresh. All rubber parts are crack free and still surprisingly soft and pliable. Also included is a large bag of assorted genuine weber jets and tuning parts for these carbs along with a complete set of larger drop in Venturis for these carbs. Although everything is dusty it looks as though it will all clean right up with ease. The carbs still have there original finish and other than dust and oil everything looks like it was stored very well, away from moisture. I feel anyone who has been looking for this setup should be extremely pleased with its condition and it's originality . And so many extras! Don't expect there to be many more like this sitting around and certainly not in this kind of shape. This is a large item and shipping will be $75 to the continental US.

Not sure what work you mean ,nothing other than carb kits really. These carbs are so simple you could kit all 4 in two hours. Only 1 gasket in them and an accelerator pump. Maybe I should have done it myself before listing it? Pretty sure it will sell since I am starting it at $1 with no reserve. : )

Great looking piece! I'm really glad to see that you have a lot of interest in the auction already, and it's only just getting underway!
