Mike,
Your turbo car has certainly peaked my interest. As I am not a motor guy, how much attention does this machine need to stay purring like a kitten? My 440hp SB hardly requires much attention and I drive it several times a week and do weekend road trips. Would the BA be suitable for someone with my novice motor knowledge and my need to drive several hundred miles a month?

Hi Jamie,
I too am not a motor guy and when I was putting this together with my engine builder it was easier maintenance than a points and carb car. Once the ems was set and we settled on the boost levels it should not require any additional adjustments. I wd recommend changing the plugs yearly and the oil every 3k. I broke the motor in on standard oil and then It has since been using mobil 1. I don't have many miles due to my health issues so I can only relate what my engine builder has told me. Nothing about these cars is bulletproof but I did choose this route because I was told it was a pretty solid build profile. Driving several hundred miles a month should be no problems otherwise I woudn't have chosen this method of performance. Lots of turbos out there going lots of mile. I put in ball bearing turbo and its boosted real low so this thing should last a long time.
