Description: Factory built turn key ERA Cobra. Every available option from ERA. The list includes the optional aluminum rear end with outboard brakes, large 4 piston front brakes, pusher fans, tri-bar headlights, heater/defroster, Smith gauges with the correct reverse wind speedometer, powder coated frame. The list goes on and on.
Genesis 427 side oiler, built by ERA's preferred builder, Joe Lapine at Danbury Custom Engines. Stroked to 469ci, Edelbrock aluminum heads, Blue Thunder intake, 2 piece Turkey pan for easy adjustment of the Holley 750 DP. 523 HP, 4000 miles since new. Tremec TKO 600 transmission. 6 pin wheels, Avon radials. Stainless Specialties sidepipes, Custom color matched tonneau cover. Rossi Corsa Red with Wimbledon White stripes. Aluminized process by Metal Morphous under the hood.
Better than new, this Cobra could not be duplicated for under $100,000 and over a year wait. Built by the craftsmen at ERA and delivered as a turn key car, there is no doubt this car was assembled properly and with the utmost care(SIII stamped into the manafacturers plate). This car, with all of its options, including a real 427 side oiler, is the best deal on the used market today if your in search for an ERA. This cobra is registered in Maine as a 1965 Ford Cobra. Maine is a non title State which uses the back of the registration to transfer ownership.
Also included is a set of GoodYear large lettered Billboard tires, Tremec TKO short shift kit NIB, and various other items I have collected over the years.
This cobra is located 30 minutes from where it was born, in Chester, Connecticut.
