This Backdraft Cobra has been my life-long dream (bucket list) car. It drives and handles like a new car, but with all the aggressive style of the original. I owned this car for less than 1 year. I have to sell as I can’t drive a manual because of a knee surgery.
Backdraft 427 RT3 Roadster, BDR1405 with only 1562 miles. Glossy Black Exterior with red pin stripes and ‘Blackout Package’. Powered by a ROUSH 427 R (550 hp) black edition motor with a Tremec TKO600 5 speed transmission. The exterior is painted in the glossy black with black stripes and red pinstripes. Being a "B" model (ie. black-out), all the shinny chrome has been powder coated in matt black, all around the vehicle. On the interior I have designed a complete brand new custom interior using the best materials out there (leather, alcantara and carpets). It’s a black double diamond stitch leather interior with red stitching using French seams and with nice touches of Alcantara. Recent maintenance by the one and only Jay from VMS (in CT). I also had it detailed and had a professional ceramic coating done 2 months ago so the paintjob looks brand new. This beauty is a refined combination of classic styling and modern suspension make the Roadster a top-of-the-line performance sports car. There is no other car that will turn heads like this one at car shows or just cruising around town.

The backdraft Cobra is a true tribute to the original 1965 Cobra with modern underpinnings and drivetrain giving the car a modern feel but still retaining the rawness of the original car. The body and paintwork is flawless with perfect Hood, Door and Trunk fit. The Paintwork is buffed to a high gloss. Black and red Stripes are done in paint and are sealed under the clear coat.
I also have an unfinished project where I built a custom Euro-Spec Dashboard from Backdraft and had it made in Carbon Fiber with some red to match the interior and also had custom made Gauges from Speedhut for this dashboard and car (see pictures attached). I’ve also imported special buttons and lights to install on the dashboard as well to make it the best looking modern Backdraft cobra out there I can sell these on the sides or I can include them as part of the car if you are interested.
