Okay scratch builders here we go. This is all the sheet metal templates for a Series 1 Factory Five Cobra replica. All carefully drawn on rugged resin paper, you see how it works. If you have a nibbler, jigsaw, Beverly shear, plasma cutter or laser cutter, trace or stick all these pieces on to aluminum sheet and cut them out. Bend them on your press brake to the noted instructions and you have absolutely everything you need to put on your chassis and wrap with your body. The aluminum dash is $100 by itself. You can buy a 4 x 8' sheet of 16 Ga 6061 for around $120 and make almost half the car! A lot of this sheet metal gives you good frame information and measurements from the shape and where it goes. How much time and money will this save you? How much satisfaction to build it yourself? Go ahead fab man, find out. Also on e-bay at http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...:IT&ih=004

By Series 1 do you mean MK1? If so there were a few changes from early to later MK1 dr footbox for adapting the big block. Which are these? Thanks.

It's an interesting story about the whole thing. Neither you, me or Dave Smith wants to get into it here.

Man! those are the best kind of stories!
