Just removed from my Cobra. The engine is a 428 Ford. These Webers are Italian built. They have Bologna stamped on the top of each unit. Complete with the manifold and the linkage. They ran well up to the point they were removed 1/12/08.

Is that epoxy on the drivers side rear, where the bolt hole is? What intake (mfg.) is it? Aren't all Webers(except maybe Pinto/Vega) made in Italy?

Most of the Webers you see today are reproductions, I believe from Mexico.

Weber stopped manufacturing carbs altogether for some time. They are now again manufacturing in Spain. They have not made Italian built units for a lot of years (not sure how long) and are not planning to in the future.
To WDZ,
The epoxy needs to be cleaned off, the hole is for the manifold bolt, and there is one stud that I missed that is for that valve cover. I will find out who the manufacturer of the manifold is.....Thanks
