Description: My cobra pruned a tree and I had a new body installed. Front clip was $5300 from ERA and I was going to use the old one to make a 'cobra nose' trailer for any long trips. Don't know that I will have the time so I thought somebody else might want to use it for that purpose. I have the fiberglass pieces that broke off (three large pieces) so I don't think it would be that hard to piece them together and have a great looking trailer! More pictures upon request. No hood as that was not damaged. Right side is all good. call 478-918-5928

Nope - only my pride. Despite the fact that there were no injuries the cop that arrived must have called everyone in town on the radio. I had a fire truck, an ambulance and 6 cruisers respond - their job appeared to be taking pictures with their cell phones...

I've been asked if I have a rear clip to sell and I do not. Personally I think the front would make a better trailer. From the rear the back of a cobra made into a trailer looks cool (which is how they are always photographed), but from the front I think the nose would look a lot better. I was going to wrap the stripe around and down the back, put a flat panel in where the dash would be and use cobra tail lights and rear bumperettes. The thing about a cobra trunk for a trailer is they don't hold much... I take a chair, small cooler, my display board, cleaning stuff, an umbrella etc.. when I go to a show. That usually doesn't fit in the trunk of my car... With a nose as a trailer you would have a ton of room for stuff if you were doing a power tour or some such thing. If you had a convertible folding top as I do (takes up the whole trunk) you could put that in, a spare tire (two for racing?), clothes, a small grill, tent, whatever you needed! The bottom of the front clip is basically flat so adding a floor would be a breeze, the frame rails are square so they are ready to take a frame rail, and you could put a straight axle in very easily.

Cheers,
Tom
