For those interested in the carb:
I built this 750HP Holley carb for RRD a couple of years ago. It features venturis of 1.425" minimum diameter with a throttle bore diameter of 1.687". The downleg-style boosters are .617" O.D. with an internal annulus diameter of of .440". The fuel metering circuitry is something of a blend, with the main circuit being calibrated along the lines of our full-on Trans-Am style road race stuff with the curb idle and transition circuitry being more oriented toward part-throttle drivability and street manners. The carb also features several modifications which reduce the negative effects of centrifugal/lateral force on the supplied air/fuel ratio during aggressive cornering and braking.
Currently, it is best suited for the purpose for which it was originally built; that of allowing a 380-430 cu.in. SBF w/ cylinder heads and camshaft designed to "do business" from 3500 - 6500 RPM to also operate on the road with reasonable efficiency and manners at 2500 RPM in a light, manual trans car.
Roger (RRD) is a stand up guy whom the last few years haven't been particularly kind to...but he's also the type of guy who will never be heard complaining about it. In order to assist him in selling this carb, I will recalibrate it to match the buyer's application at no charge; pay only for return shipping.
