Description: Cobra is by Exact in Austin TX. And is number 3 of 7 produced so far.
It is the most accurate replica available. No fiberglass. Body is carbon fiber (.060) and mounted on a birdcage as per originals. Carbon is “wrapped around wire in the wheel well edges to simulate a wrapped aluminum appearance. Frame is identical to original but with increased wall thickness. Only the best parts and materials are used. Wilwood brakes, six pin drive hubs with knockoff wheels, NEW Salisbury rear, Spicer joints, correct oil cooler with proper fittings.
Car was received as a roller and no interior. The paint is single stage Rangoon red. The mechanical was professionally completed by Vintage Mobil Restoration in Phoenix, AZ.
The interior was finished by Unique Auto Upholstery in Scottsdale, AZ. They have re-upholstered and carpeted several originals to spec.
Drive train and engine:
1967 Sideoiler. Milodon cheater cam drive. Solid lifters. Lemans rods, steel crank, cross bolted mains. Bore is .030 over and C/R is 10:1. Original sidewinder intake with period correct carb. I would probably change it to a modern carb. though. Kirkham turkey pan.
Tranny is a TR 3550 five speed. OK for street not track. Top loader is cheaper but not convenient. (Cruise at 70mph and 1800 rpm.)
A Shelby American appraiser said it is the most accurate recreation he has seen. And placed a value of $88,000.00 on the car.

The list of parts not on car but included are as follows:
Wind wings
Visors
Racing windscreen
Spare black anodized billet reservoirs (look like original)
Tabs to cover windshield slots when using windscreen. (Thanks Mickmate)
Stainless wire and twist pliers and hammer.
A Serpent Express trailer is also available for 3,200.

The average fighter pilot, despite the sometimes swaggering exterior, is very much capable of such feelings as love, affection, intimacy and caring. These feelings just don't involve anybody else.

The guy that builds them told me they weight 2,000 lbs with iron block FE with alum heads and TKO trans. So all alum block would be another 100+ lighter
