Description: 427 Side Oiler block for sale. There is no casting number on the block but there is a code 1K2 and W1 stamped into the block on the bottom side. Also the 68 352 markings cast into the front, the mold number is 12 DIF and 66 427 cast into the top of the block. This block has been shot peened, decked and hot tanked. A crack was repaired on the left side, 2 cylinders sleeved and block was bored 0.60 over for overall bore of 4.290. Repair was verified by pressure check and magnaflux test. New main spacers were fabricated and each spacer is stamped with an ID number with corresponding ID number stamped into the block, so if the caps and spacers were removed, each can be matched back up to ensure proper alignment. Block was align honed with new spacers attached and torqued to specs. I kept this block to use in a Cobra project but I doubt that I will ever use it so I have decided to sell. Email reasonable cash offers. I can put the block on a pallet for shipment at your expense. I will also deliver the block in the southeast for a fee. Email your location for a delivery quote.

Just checking, you did say that the block was bored .60 over right?

Yes it's bored .060 I made a typo in the original post. The overall cylinder bore is 4.290
