Default 427 side oiler NIB

Hello, I'm not sure if this is the place to post this or not.... My grandfather passed away and had lots of treasurers. Amongst them is a 427 side oiler motor still in original boxes. Everything is sealed in boxes as far as I know except for the crank shaft which was opened and stored in the garage covered and upright. I have never seen an unused/unopened 427 side oiler for sale online and wondered #1 what something like this would be worth in today's economy in that condition and #2, Where's the best place to find people who're interested in purchasing it? and #3. Does anyone know where I can find an inventory list with part numbers etc to organize the boxes all together?
Thanks,
Ian

Try the FE forum, a bunch of nice guys with lots of knowledge. They should be able to help you also. Depending on which heads, rods and crankshaft you have, this could be an expensive motor. Good luck.

We have the books but Bill knows every number by heart. Open the boxes (lots will have info on the outside) to get casting numbers and dates and give us a call. We will be glad to tell you exactly what you have. Try to keep the pieces together as a unit for maximum results.

Thanks alll I found some of the boxes.... Unfortunately I don't have all the info. All I know is what I've found so far... I have a 427 block that has a silver tag that reads d3ae6010 aa(or it could be 44... I can't tell) and under that it says c8az G 427 HP... So far I have found the connecting rod assembly's (x8), crank shaft, cam shaft, oil pan baffle s2, valve cover, oil pump assembly.... I am still looking for the other parts such as pistons etc but Im not sure what else I should be looking for? Literally he's got engine parts everywhere.... I am located in Ventura does anyone have any contacts in this area to tell me what I have? I know i have another 427 i know the other 427 is out of a ford fairlane galaxie 500 but im having a hard time finding casting numbers on it...and possibly a 428 or 390 not sure what it is... On the latter one of the numbers on it says 352 and I think it says c5ae but it's not easy to read... Any help would be Appreciated. Thanks!
