Default What manual Trans is behind your 429/460

For you guys running a 429/460 in their cobra, what manual trans are you using? What bellhousing did you use to mate them up and how do you like it?

Default 460/tko 600

I'm currently putting a 545 with a tko 600 in my Mark 111 that originally had a 460 with 3550 tko using a 460 truck bellhousing. The new setup uses a quick time bellhousing. Everything fits great and the only thing I'm trying to figure out is the hydraulic clutch. heard some negatives about the hydraulic throwout bearings so I bought a slave cylinder kit from Glen at Rose Hill performance and I think it will work. The kit is designed for a sbf with Quick Time bellhousing but it looks like it will line up ok with the 385 series bellhousing. Good luck

Richmond Performance Street 5 speed - the old model with 1:1 5th gear. Bellhousing? No idea, the car was built in 1991 and it was in there when I bought it in 2014.
