Welcome Steve,
You could have one made custom made specifically for your car by your local upholstery shop.

Steve, a local shop might be able to make up a tonneau, but it's doubtful the grain would match anything else on 3301.

And Gutke can not match an original grain?

Robbins Top Company in California makes both tops and tonneau covers for original cobras. You can select the material .. a vinyl or British Everlast Vinyl .. the material use on the original tops / tonneaus.

If you have a friend with an industrial sewing machine, have them make you one. Materials are less than $20.

Just received an awesome and well crafted Tonneau cover from Piggyback Tonneau Covers. Great folks to work with. I followed their well drafted instructions in measuring my BDR and I got a perfect fit. A+ in my book.
I'll take some photos and upload.

with a snap on cover -can you drive the car with the passenger side still attached to the car, like an enclosed cockpit/race car?

Howdy folks, been forever since I posted on CC.
We're still alive and kicking here... holler if you need anything !
Kind Regards to All !
Pig
Shadow, yes.. with a zippered lift/dot or snap style cover the car can be driven with it on. Many folks do not care for the lift/dots or snaps or the rub wearing of the paint from that style and choose another style instead.

I have a Backdraft that I purchased used over two years ago. It came with a vinyl top that the original owner used once. OMG- how do you get in and out of the thing without burning yourself on the pipes with the top. Nice alternative would be a tonneau cover so purchased a factory fitting one from Backdraft. Did look at Piggyback and such a pain in ordering, went with the nice fitted. However, have only used a few times. Wanted the tonneau cover for the one to two night trips or left out in the sun for a day. In my opinion, don't waste your time on a tonneau cover and purchase a nice carcover for those days you thing a cover might be necessary (hot sun or rain). Not sure if a piggyback will fit in the trunk if you have tools and travel gear. Call cover is much easier storage as it rolls up and pliable. Also, piggyback, you can't go down the road with it on.
