Lexan Windscreen for Cobra Roll Bar

Hello folks:
I am trying to pick some ideas as to how to make a pattern for the roll bar windscreen same as the one in the picture. Having some trouble copying the radius of the rear deck lid where the roll bar sits. Any thoughts are welcome please.

You could try something like welding rod (or similar) to lay on the body and bend it so it conforms to the shape, then use that to transfer the shape to some stiff paper to a make template. Be sure use to use some kind of painters tape to protect the finish.

I just spent a couple of days working on a similar set up for my SPF over the Holidays. My nephew has a weld shop (Nichols Fabrication) in Tucson and we made a frame to slip into the existing cover body holes. I just approximated the arch of the rear body with cardboard and nephew bent pipe to match. I was going to seal it with weather stripping against the body. Since I have the traditional driver roll bar it is a separate unit that will bolt up to the body and my roll bar.

Always start with a CAD pattern (Cardboard Aided Design).

Tape the cardboard to the bulkhead behind the seats, and trace the pattern there. That will give you the body curve.

Then put the cardboard where you want it on the roll bar, and trace out that pattern.
