Need help - Which pilot bearing ?
Hi guys,
Can anyone of you tell me which pilotbearing I can use to fit this package ?:
Ford 351W, TKO600 Hurst, Quicktime Bellhousing 6060....

Use a stock replacement bushing. There doesn't seem to be any advantage to using a roller bearing.

I may agree with Bob. Although I did install another roller bearing after I pulled this one out.
Same setup as you, 351 block with TKO 600.

i am going to order a bronze bushing. i have used rollers in the past with no problem, but considering everything is made overseas anymore, bronze is hard to beat. they also make a kevlar bearing for the exoticly inclined.

You spec the bearing/bushing for the clutch.
If you're running a really aggressive disc, such as a sintered iron or similar, the dust will actually wear a bronze bushing over time and you'll get slop there.
For really aggressive clutches, it's best to use a bearing.
For factory style discs, like an organic disc, you can use a bushing.
Make sure you dial the bell in, or you can get a worn bushing/bearing as a result.
