Default Floor Mats

Wondering where I can find a set of floor mats custom made to the floor plan of a CSX6000 car... I've checked the usual suspects (Finish Line, Cobra Restorers, etc.).
I own the "generic" rectangular black mats with the Shelby logo that slide around everywhere in the foot box and irate the (*&U^ out of me...

Thanks,

Hector

ERA makes a nice set. I am not sure if the floor pans are the same shape as CSX, but they look pretty close.

Hector did you want the embroidered Snake logo or just plain black fitted mats?

Try these guys. http://www.accmats.com. They made a set of floor mats for me from my own templates. I had them made from black Berber material and they even embroidered a cobra logo in them. They were great to deal with! and the floor mats have worn like Iron for 5 years now. Hope they're still the same crew to deal with.

Thanks Tim. I will give them a call. I actually visited their website a few times and tried to type in my car/model but it was not on their options, so I gave up. I will try them again...

Tim, i just hung up the phone with them, AND used the instant chat approach. Two different reps told me the same: they do not use customer's template. I asked of they used to, and neither rep could tell me. Maybe they stopped making custom work. Oh, well. Thanks for the suggestion...

Cheers,

Hector

Hector

Give these people a call.

http://www.qualitycarmats.com

Don't give up on me yet. I had 3 floor mat guys in my Cobra book marks and gave you the wrong one. Here is a comment on this web site:

Sales help was excellent. Sent me 2 series of color samples. I made a custom template, then sent them where I was instructed too. Floor mats showed up on my doorstep less than 2 weeks later, exactly as I had drawn them up. Thanks for the quality, expeditious delivery, and great price! I'll be contacting you again in the future.

At the time they said they couldn't do the original laughing Cobra logo. I ordered them anyway and they mysteriously appeared with the logo embroidered on.

Good Luck

Tim

You can also just anchor the mats that came from Shelby like they did on the originals using lift-a-dots. Here's a thread on that: Fastening floor mats

Call Shelby distrabution, they have a license vender who does Shelby matts. They are tayored to fix CSX6000. The have the round cobra logo EXCEPT they say Shelby, not cobra. The take about 3 weeks to get. The are super nice and very high quality BUT aint cheap. I think I paid $300. You will not be disapointed! I can send you a pix of them if you like, Richard

Thank you, Lou! I just saw your pm.

It has been a while, though, and a few days after his post, I bit the bullet and followed Richard's suggestion. Yes, Patrick, I paid $300 for the mats! It's amazing what some crazy people will do to sooth an itch

FWIW they are well made, thicker than I expected (not Wilton quality, of course), and fit like the proverbial glove. Plus, it was painless to order and receive:

At the end of the day, it was the ease of obtaining them that was worth the $$ (no patterns to cut, no measurements or logos to email, etc...)

Cheers!
