Smile Cobra round-up to visit a fellow Cobra owner

I am posting this here to get the word out. Sept 21 some of the Indiana Cobra folks are making a trip to Boonville Indiana to bring some joy to a very kind gentleman. I had met Rick Yeager when I was building my B&B cobra in 2000. He had a Cobra kit that....well ...maybe needed more work than most to build. He was a doctor at the local hospital and a true caring person. I lost touch with Rick and many of my Cobra friends after selling my B&B in2004. Fast forwarding several years and with the help of friends, family and neighbors Rick realized his Cobra dream. I reconnected with Rick after the 2013 London Cobra show because I bought a Shell Valley roller. I thought back to the first London show and how excited he and I were to attend, me In my B&B and he making the trip in his family car waiting for the day he could drive his. In my first call to Rick after the 2013 show Rick told me the bad news. His M.S. had gotten bad and he had not been able to drive his Cobra in awhile and doubted his being able to drive her again. If you have gotten this far in the text without clicking off, thank you. Rick was very excited to talk to me and talk about his Cobra. I am working to organize an informal cruise to get some Cobras and Cobra folks to Rick. The date is Sept 21 2013. We will meet at the Ferdinand exit (63) on interstate 64 in the Wendys parkinglot. We will depart the parkinglot at 11:30am easterntime and drive to a nice restaurant In Jasper before heading to see Rick arriving around 1:30pm. F.y.I. Boonville is about 2 hours west of Louisville, 3hrs sw of Indianapolis....So does anyone want to come?
