Finally got a warm enough, no snow or salt day. First startup and ride since October. Bring on Spring!

Thanks for posting - nice video and sounding Cobra. Interesting - in winter time your countryside looks pretty much just like portions of eastern and southern Arkansas.

Judging by the depth of the snow in our back yard 5' or so where the storage garage sits, it will be quite a while before our car see's any asphalt. What a tease!

Sorry guys. Trying to give all some hope that spring is around the corner. After seeing motorcycles and convertibles driving around, I decided today may be the day to shake the cob webs out. We have had a nasty winter here in NY and have been patiently waiting for spring. It got to 60 yesterday. Short lived sign of spring. 11 degrees this eve with snow. Gonna shoot that damn ground hog!

When people here "Long Island, NY", they think guidos and Jewish princesses and house stacked on top of each other. And as a former "Guido" , i can attest that is accurate for much of the island. But I am located out on the twin forks(Hamptons region as most know that name). It's all beaches, Vineyards, farms, Horse Farms, and mega houses. Some really great driving twisty roads, which once it gets warmer, I'll post.

I was out in my daily driver yesterday and the roads looked pretty good but when I got home I could see the salty tire tracks on my black asphalt driveway, so didn't go out. Hoping for a good hard rain to wash that crap away. Hopefully soon...

Great sounding Cobra! I was able to get in a two hundred mile road trip, yesterday. It was a beautiful day here in NC. There is nothing like being on the road in my Cobra.
Enjoy the Drive!

I have a video from years ago in 8mm but mine goes much faster. lol I have enough trouble downloading pictures let alone a video. I'm jealous. Good for you to get out like that.
Soon I'm going to head to Montauk. About 50 years ago my grandmother came home from shopping in Manhattan and showed my grandfather how she purchased 4 lots in a new development in Montauk(Leisurama) at Macy's department store. These were meant as second homes that had everything including dishes and linens. She figured it was a nice place for some of the employees on their estate to get away and relax.
This is one of the biggest jokes over the decades in our family. My grandfather just told her good honey and the following week she bought two more.
I don't think I can take a cobra because my daughters will be with me. I'll figure something out. Always enjoyed the ride out there.
Any roads to stay away from on the weekend please post. In the summer I stay away from the Hamptons......you know how that goes.

Plenty of roads to stay away from. Shoot me a pm. I will give you an specific back road route that will save you, no joke, hours off that trip. I always lead the trips our cobra clubs take to take advantage of the great roads and also avoid ALL of the Hampton summer traffic. Love montauk. Lived and had restaurants out there for years.

If I knew the roads in eastern L.I. was so beautiful I might have remained in the Bronx!
Looking forward to viewing the next video with the new pipes.
