The fun that I get from my car
I haven't been on here for a long time and I have owned 4 of these cars but this is the first one I have that's done I always sell them and say ill buy another one now that I finally got it I cant say how much fun this car is and the satisfaction of driving it down the road and listening to my pipes and watching all the kids wave and give thumbs up that's what I call cool.

I love driving my car! Sometimes I just go out and burn up a tank of fuel with no particular goal in mind, except to enjoy the car and the day. Often, I never even get out of the car until I get back home. It puts a smile on my face, and generally makes me happy.

Have owned our car since the crate was dropped off here in 93 even when it is not driven much the love of owning it never falters. With all the other things the wife and love to do this car is going nowhere. We both love riding around in it together I especially love it alone testing it's limits.
Very thankful to have had the opportunity to build a kit and to own such an incredible capable example of a car I have wanted ever since reading one of the first published articles back in the 60's.

Nothing like these cars to put a smile on your face and everyone around. It is always a way to get a conversation started everywhere you go..

Glad to hear it....I havent taken delivery yet, but 1795( Jim), came up from the southern tier in his ERA to go to lunch and take me for a ride....Mid 40's and sunny....loved it. Cant wait until my baby is in the garage....I might need to sleep in it the first couple of weeks.

I will echo what others have said regarding the enjoyment of owning and driving a Cobra. I also have other hobies and interest but the Cobra puts a grin on my face and is a friend maker. I was filling my Cobra up one day and noticed an older lady next to me that had to be near 80. I appologized to her for how loud it was and her reply was "I like it and would love to go for a ride if I had the time". These things are great grin makers.

Other peoples expressions are one of the things I love about it I let little kids sit in mine and take pictures all the time I tell them its a goal anyone can achieve if they really want and hope it puts positive encouragement in their life as I was growing up I ran into more ass hole car guys than nice ones so I always try to remember that and be that nice guy after all its just a car and you cant take it with you but if you can make someone have a great day with it its even better.

I wish that I had taken a picture of Steve Carey when I took him for a ride in my ERA, it was priceless He was taking pictures of the car and a brief video going down the road and the whole time he was grinning from ear to ear. DV, I do not think that he will sleep a night until you have completed that car for him. At least the lousy weather that we are having will not make him miss it as much as if it were sunny and warm...
It was a pleasure to assist another Cobra owner in satisfying his fix

I remember that feeling from the last two I owned. Just picked up my third and can't wait to have that feeling again! Nothing like this car reaches such a broad range of people from young to old.

Yesterday outside Office Max a guy in a Suburban stops and says, "You don't see one of those everyday!" I said, "I do!"
