Take a spin with Pete...
First GOPRO attempt, these microphones are incredible. For the driving I plugged a Sony in - placed in front of the passenger seat, even picked up the winding of the T-45 and super charger....

Pete:
Just saw this video for the first time. You can really tell a bunch about the car from this vid...you've done such a great job. The car fits you perfectly, it's solid, handles well, I love the close ratio gearing 1st-4th and the nice overdrive 5th. It's fantastic what you accomplished with your own two paws in such a short amount of time.
I was reviewing your build thread, and it appears quite a number of your earlier photos have lost their links. If the pics are still available, you may want to re-host and link them again when you get some time so that others can fully reference your build thread in the years to come. It is definitely one of the greats on CC!..
- Allen.

Not too many cops in Texas? I get pulled over every time I drive like that.
Great vid

Thanks guys...
Allen, I will take a look into the pictures.
NOW guys I found another clip, this one is of one of the original 289 comp, the CSX2323.
I have even the same metallic noises in the cockpit. Compare the sounds>

Pete,
Was that a GOPRO mic? Great vid BTW. Wish I would have hooked mine
up for the Devil's Hwy run. Had it along but no mic.

Here is what I have, Sony condenser mic [ame="http://www.amazon.com/Sony-ECM-DS70P-Electret-Condenser-Microphone/dp/B00006HOLL"]Amazon.com: Sony ECM-DS70P Electret Condenser Stereo Microphone: Musical Instruments@@AMEPARAM@@http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/31HPMYTT5EL.@@AMEPARAM@@31HPMYTT5EL[/ame]
and the GoPro mic adapter
[ame="http://www.amazon.com/GoPro-AMCCC-301-3-5mm-Mic-Adapter/dp/B00A3MY7L8/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1411221515&sr=8-4&keywords=gopro+external+microphone"]Amazon.com : GoPro 3.5mm Mic Adapter : Headphone Adapters : Camera & Photo@@AMEPARAM@@http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/31SB3O%2B2nVL.@@AMEPARAM@@31SB3O%2B2nVL[/ame] and a 8 foot extension cable. I researched for a good mic and found the Sony is the best fit for me. You clearly hear the difference when I plug in the mic. I'm really happy with it.

Great video Pete yes, the car does sound and look great. Did pretty much the same thing yesterday out around our farm country, LEO's seldom out there not enough action.
Will drag my feet putting the car away this year.
