Help me identify this Replica
Trying to help a guy out that bought a collection of cars from an estate.
Does anybody know what brand this replica is or who made it?
This is stamped on the chassis

Yep - looks like a Contemporary.

Yes Contemporary. What are the details about the car?

I don't know... Interior looks good, but it has the wrong gauges, and it looks like the roll bar brace is different and the hoop is too far back.

Thanks for the input! I know nothing about contemporary classics, but I will pass the info along to the owner.

yes, I agree with all other posts as well, it appears to be a Contemporary. Does the owner have any other supporting documentation, IE. Registrations, titles, etc. What type steering mechanism, rear end assembly, torsion bars up front, etc.

Shorty rollbar and upside-down door latches are quick Contemporary giveaways without getting underneath.
It's also wearing those insert Centerlines too which place it in the late '80s/early '90s.

I agree. My only difference is I think these wheels are Compomotive HB500. Of the bolt on wheels, these are my favorite. I'm biased though, as they're what's on my CCX!
The shorty roll bar is often an indication that there should be a soft top as well.

Yep, I think you're right about the wheels.

An early Everett Morrison? The only thing that doesn't look right is the roll bar. EM's were taller. They had a round tube main frame and perky butt like FFR. Shell Valley's have the small roll bar. Just a guess.

I haven't seen the car in person. They sent me a picture of the rear end and it has inboard brakes and the rear brackets look like the ones on the contemporary cars I have seen in google images.

Jag IRS rear - still could be either an EM or Contemporary. A picture or details of the rear frame structure (kick-up) holding the rear suspension would cinch it either way.
