Default Turkey Pan

Who makes the 2 part turkey pans, the ones with the flanged base plate with removable body?
Somebody asked me about these and although I remember seeing a couple pictures, I never recall any vendor.

One was Mastertouch327.com, but his website has expired. I believe he was on Club Cobra
Beautiful turkey pan with removable sides. Great price. I love mine.

Just take a regular Turkey Pan, trim it and make up a new base plate out of sheet aluminum and bolt it to the upper section. Should only take a couple hours.

Nick Acton made mine. At that time he was making a "do it yourself" kit that allowed you some flexibility. I polished mine and added some pressnuts to the base to make it easy to remove/replace. Just do a search for Acton Enterprises.

No, that won't work, unless wou want a short version of a turkey pan. Most of them require you also recut all the linkage and fuel line reliefs.

It's a lot more complicated than you think. Mine was custom fabbed for me by ERA. If I didn't have a removable Turkey Pan, adjusting the carb would be a nightmare with my ham hock hands. Here are some pics:

I have the pan that sea2jet posted in my backdraft, I guess that is their supplier. I would contact backdraft or give Jay at vintage/revelocity a call. It's a nice piece and I would definitely recommend it.

I've never done any real performance comparisons with and without my Turkey Pan on or off, but when I drive around town with the Turkey Pan off the engine it runs about seven or eight degrees hotter.

I fabbed my turkey pan just because I like the racy/vintage look. Unexpected bonus was it cured the fuel boiling problem on hot days AND I picked up .2-.3 tenths next visit at the 'strip. I'm happy.

Too bad mastertouch327 is out of business. Last year I bought a turkey pan which I thought was well made and looked great. I got the air filter package from mickmate. Another nice product.

Default I have the Acton 2 piece Turkey Pan

Expensive but a quality piece.
My intention with these picks was not to display the Turkey Pan but you get the idea.

Default Turkey Pan

I build the Turkey Pans. And if you want them modified in two parts that bolt and unbolt instead of welded I can do that as well.
