Air/Fuel Ratio Gauges
Does anyone make an air/fuel ratio gauge that looks like a classic Smiths cobra gauge?
If not, opinions on what looks reasonably close? I've googled around, but it's hard to tell from pics.

Purchase two gauges of like sizes, here are two that I quickly found, but you can do better. One is the Smiths Oil Gauge, the other is an Air Fuel Gauge. Remove the faces from both gauges. Then carefully razor the cardboard logo of the Smiths face of the gauge and place it behind the AF face that you have razored open. Use a small paint brush and Testor's model paint to match the needle. Shouldn't take you more than an afternoon. If you're careful, nobody will be able to spot your work without really looking hard at it. And, even then, they won't know for sure. Remember, creating a "window" on the face of the AF gauge and then placing the Smiths cut out behind so it "peeks through" will give you a cleaner look.

LOL. From the master painter of air cleaners and wheels himself.
I sort of liked this gauge with the silver bezel and like that it has AFR for both left and right banks on one gauge. At least it does't have all of the rainbow colors like some, but I do lose the analog look. DLG-1 Dual Lambda Gauge
This is a winter project. I am replacing the fuel level gauge on the dash with a fuel pressure gauge (just for fun since I have it) and moving the fuel level gauge onto a small panel below the dash that sits between the cowl brace bars. Since I have the panel, I was also going to add a Smiths analog clock and an AFR gauge to it.

Doug,
If it matters ;-) , Amazon has it for a bit less: [ame="http://www.amazon.com/DLG-1-Dual-Lambda-Wideband-Gague/dp/B010E7MH8Q"]Amazon.com: DLG-1 Dual Lambda/Wideband Gague Kit: Automotive@@AMEPARAM@@http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/41GYRQgA0%2BL.@@AMEPARAM@@41GYRQgA0%2BL[/ame]
You could save enough to buy the Smiths faceplate to do the swap from...

Kirkham makes custom gauges for less than the cost of these gauges, so I may go that route - waiting to see a pic. . Kirkhams are awesome.

Put the gauges in the glove box?
Good place as any. Could use a panio hindge and mount them under the dash at center. Use as needed. If the AF is soft and running rich, over time these sensors will fowl out or give wrong readings. Rick L. Ps I cost a dyno guy $800.00 for the o2 sensor to get my car running in 98.
