Been there, done that with the steering wheel on. You're going to have to try harder to impress this group Troy

Sure could not do that these days but did plenty of it while building the car. It's still good for stirring the old gray matter.

I did that with the wheel on AND with my butt in the Sube' Cobra Classic seats. Felt like Houdini trying to escape the straight jacket.

Try it with the steering wheel in place.

I have learned that getting into that position is one thing - getting out is another!

Haven't had to get upside down in my current Cobra much, but I sure spent a lot of time upside-down in the front seat of ones like this!!! A cockpit less than 3' wide your head shoved between tail rotor pedals and your legs up the back of the seat all made for a VERY uncomfortable repair - normally wiring! But if it wasn't for all the hours I spent like this in these old Cobras, I would have never learned to fix things by feel!!

Gun Doc: You should have tried it with the earlier G models with the panographic sight mounted on the floor. The crew chiefs usually had to do the hard stuff but I had to do it once myself. Those guys sure didn't get paid enough.

Normal haha. Usually the steering wheel is on also! One wrong move and you'll dent a Kirkham bad

Worse part is when you drop you pliers or whatever past your neck and your trying to fish for it in ways the Carma Sutra never shows. And then you develop a cramp. I know I'm getting to old when my back goes out more then I do.
