SPF adjustable passenger seat rails (fore and aft)
Bought from finish line ($39), about an hour and a half along with a trip to the hardware store for some hex RHMS (8mm x about 3/4") to bolt up into the seat.
Steps: undo 4 13 mm bolts from under car, remove seat.
Adjust your handbrake cable while the seat is out. Plus vacuum up all the leaves, twigs, French fries, and debris. Contemplate leaving the seat out for good...
Get 4 8mm 3/4" long round headed machine screws (Allen heads)
Yo will need to drill a hole in each rail to fit the rails to the seat-the finish line rail hole spacing is about an inch too long. Bolt the rails to the seat-I used some loctite on them.
The rails have studs pressed or welded in which match the SPF body. So all you do is drop the seat back in! Also the studs are SAE 5/16 that now take a nut that tightens with 1/2" tools...used a flat, lock washer, and loctite here too (using loctite blue by the way).
The reason for doing all this is to be able to move the seat forward for smaller people (like the wife) so that the harnesses can be pulled snug.
