JAG IRS needed!
Hi Guys,
Does anyone know of a reliable source of Jaguar IRS Assemblies, complete with subframe, inboard brakes hubs and lower control arms.
Need:
XKE Series 1 or 2 - 1964 - 1974 or
XJ6 - 1965 - 1987
I have been looking for ages but haven't had any luck.
Any suggestions are most welcome.
Thanks
David

I have seen numerous Jag complete assemblies on Craigslist. Use this and you can search the whole USA.

Have tried the Weavers at Unique Motorsports Gadsden Al. I was there last month and they had a pile of them.

Contact David Boger at everydayxj.com. He will have exactly what you need at a great price, will strap it to a pallet and have it delivered to your door. Doug at ERA gave me a list of all the parts they use to rebuild them, so I can send that to you if you like.

David: Thoroughbred Motors in Sarasota, Fl. Salvage and used Jags are their specialty, but you never know what will show -up there, Ferraris, Aston-Martins, and they are within driving range of Gainsville.
I think Roger is the guy to talk to, 941-359-2277

Ps, I found my Kirkham There !

Might be cheaper to buy an XJ-6 pull the diff, and sell the car off for parts.
Something else to consider is most XJ-12 had a power lock diff.

If you are on a budget, keep looking at craigslist in both the parts and used car sections. I found a guy selling an xj6,I forget if it was $600 or $800. It was pretty easy to pull the rear out.

David,
You might as well learn from the master about identifying what you see (and, no, it ain't me!): http://www.firstcoastcobraclub.com/v...=198&hilit=jag

Try Terrys Jaguar Parts at Terrysjag.com or XK's Unlimited. Either place should be able to give you what you need.
