Default Brake fluid question

Is there a specific brand or type of brake fluid I nee to use in my Backdraft?

It really depends on how your car is used, for mostly street driving any DOT3 will work. If you track or intend to do spirited drives you might want to upgrade to DOT 4. Personally I use Motul RBF600, a DOT 4 with a higher temp range and doesn't adsorb moisture.

I use Dot 3 in my street car and Dot 4 in the Cobra. There are several good brands of each.

If this is for your #156 be sure it does not have Silicone fluid in it. BDR used silicone in the brake system on the early cars.

I use RL-600. Rated above 600 degrees.
