Default Transmission Question

I apologize for all the questions but I did not get much info about my BDR when I bought it because the owner didn't know squat about it either. I'm looking for Tremec info. I found a web site that posts all the part numbers to identify their trans.. It says there is a metal tag on one of the bolts holding the main body to the tail piece that has the part number. I couldn't find the metal tag. Any suggestions on how to identify what series transmission it is? Built in 2004, 5-speed. Engine is a 351 Stroker (418).

I had the same problem identifying my particular Tremec tranny in my Backdraft. I contacted Darin Stocker, Customer Service Rep at Tremec (darin.stocker@tremec.com) and he told me the metal tag should be on one of the bolts on the top of the tranny. With a small mirror, I indeed found the metal tag and was able to get enough numbers to have Tremec identify the tranny and send me the specs. Phil

The tag location is on the rhs, where the castings are bolted together.
