Image hosting sites
Any suggestions for a reliable image hosting site (so I can continue to post pics here)?
Cheers,
Glen

I don't know about Australia, but my Prime membership with Amazon.ca includes unlimited photo storage without image compression. Easy to share individual photos or albums.

I just upload photos directly from my computer. If you click on post reply, instead of quick reply, you can attach photos like in an email. It works great.

Tried that....but the picture needs to be already uploaded into a CC gallery, right? And that's my problem - I can't upload any new pics to CC.
Cheers,
Glen

No, they don’t need to be in a CC gallery. The just need to be on the computer you are using. Once you click on the paper clip to attach, use ‘Browse’ to locate your picture file. When you have added all the photos you want to attach, Upload them. They will appear in your post.

If I do it that way, it's looking for pictures from CC "Photopost gallery" or "pictures and albums"....not from external to CC.
I'm out of space on CC so I can't upload new pictures to CC albums...so I need to do it a different way.
Am I missing anything from your suggestion?
Cheers,
Glen

Yes, you are. I don’t have my PC at the moment as our house was hit by a tornado and I am temporarily in a hotel. I’ll pick up my PC tomorrow and private message you with the process.

Thanks Chris. Will look forward to the information....but of course very low priority considering what you guys have had to put up with.
Just now looked up info on the tornados that hit Dallas....it makes me feel fortunate that I live in a tornado-free area. Good luck with the 'recovery'.
Cheers,
Glen

See attached: Click on the paper clip icon, not the image insert icon. Then pick the photo on your PC. Then click upload.

Another test post; thanks for the info Ron
A question, though - with the 'paper clip' method or the 'manage attachments' method, where are the graphics for the post stored?
Cheers,
Glen
