Cold Air Box Fabrication
I am really going to test my fabrication skills trying to fabricate this cold air box grow .063 6061 aluminum.
Dimensions taken and plotted. Ready to layout the first (and only) attempt

Bill, from what I've seen of your fabrication skills so far, I have every confidence that you'll turn out a very functional and professional looking air box. Looking forward to seeing the progress.
Cheers,
Glen

You should also dimension the center-points for all the corner radius’s, trying to line up two edges of the bit will cause many errors....
The sides could be a separate piece from the horizontal sheet too. Bending could be difficult as the sides do not appear to be 90 degrees to the base?
You could make a test on plexiglass sheet first....

I'd be curious is there is any gain it loss. I know the turkey pan and restrictive air filter kills power.

Building a air box can create a reversion outside in the air box when enclosed.

The small air filter restricts power, the turkey pan does not.

Please elaborate.
Both of my Webered cars show no sign of fuel reversion in their airboxes.

I was curious whether this was similar to what I've designed for the ERA GT cold air box (base). The venturi holes are only about .040" diagonal offset from my drawing. If Bill D wants to share his effort, I can supply a DXF. (I couldn't find an overall height, so I just guessed.)
