I'm a big fan of the incredible performance potential that electric vehicles bring to the table, but the more I think about it, the long hood and huge open snout of the Cobra are necessary compromises to accommodate a big, hot, gulping combustion engine.
If I were to design an electric vehicle, it would be a completely new look taking full advantage of the packaging and ergonomic opportunities that batteries and electric motors allow. No need for a big parachute-like frontal area when you can pretty much do whatever you want with the shape of the body.
Edit - an old "Electric Cobra" sketch that i did in 2010
