Default Speedmaster 8 stack EFI

Hi all. There have been a few threads over the last 3 or 4 years about the Speedmaster 8 stack EFI system.

Some pros. Some cons.

Wondering if any users would like to post an update/long term use thread.

I am considering an 8 stack and was wondering about the Speedmaster 8 stack.

Does anyone have an instruction manual they would be willing to share? There isn't one on the Speedmaster website and I'd like to research before jumping in.

Cheers
Greg

I hope this works.

Well for whatever reason, I'm not able to copy and paste the instructions that they sent me. If you contact Speedmaster, I'm sure they'll send you whatever you're looking for. They've been very responsive whenever I've called them or emailed. Nice people.
I'm in the process of putting their first generation system with FAST-EZ2.0 on the 331 in my FFR. Got it running in August, and have been able to go-kart a couple of times before I took off the side and J pipes to ceramicote. It has run smooth with amazing throttle response.
Give them a call.

Rick

I have one on a 383 SBC, I got the model with no plenum then fabricated 2 separate plenums, One for the MAP and another for a ford idle air motor, Then I swapped the L and R throttle bodies to hide the injectors in the middle and better aim them at the backside of the intake valve.

The intake was rather sloppily cast but had plenty of material to port match.

Hard to beat for the money.

I'm running it with megasquirt 2 using the hybrid speed density/alphaN setup. Very well mannered and driveable.

Thanks Rick. A big help. Now to learn more and teach myself a new skill.
