I did that with Ellie about seven or eight years ago. I fabricated a nice dog harness for her that worked with the Crow four point belts. So, out we went with her sitting in the passenger seat and loving every minute of it. What was really funny is that people looked over at us, and seeing man driving a 427 Cobra with a fluffy white dog strapped in next to him, and didn't even blink an eye. It was like they saw it happen every day.

Sounds like awesome times Patrick! I was just looking at a couple nice shots of Ellie today that just came up in rotation! I think I just got the video to finally work if you missed it prior! Thanks, Brent

You know it seems most car people are dog people too. (Past & Present owners, or are just dog lovers in general) At least I can have Larry & Leon on short term Leashes sorry, sorry, really bad pun. TommyRot.

That is great. Looks like they are enjoying the ride. Wish we could do that with our little guy but he would not like noise.

My secret weapon is Joan…where she goes the dogs go. They happily bear anything to be by her. What they can’t bear is when she is out of their sight! ☺ Brent

As Brent knows, I loss my Hound "Mr. Bean" a Basset six years ago, it still hurts. He was a 24hour companion, he was at every race, for every quick street drive (He knew how to brace himself ). In the Fall & Winter of his years, I had a Porsche Boxer, (Never a good fit for him) so to make it easier to enjoy his rides, his last rides were in his favorite car. Our trick little Saffron V-70R Volvo wagon. The Book & Movie "The Art of Racing in the Rain" should be on every Car/Dog lovers list. I felt "Beanie-Boy" and I had that kind of understanding of each other. Thanks Brent for letting me share. Your friend Tom.
