As an SCCA member, I am gad to hear that. Also sad that they decided to send it to Mecum instead of raffling it off. I would have donated some money for a ticket in a raffle, but in no way would be able to bid at a Mecum auction.

What a great Charity, I hope it does well. SCCA has been a Huge part of my life, starting in 1959 when my Father joined (A Founding Pacific Northwest Member) , with me in-tow to every race. It gave me a chance to meet the Greats & near Greats in the Sports car racing world (Phil Hill, Jimmy Clark, Dan Gurney, Mark Donohue, and of course Mr. Ken Miles) just to name a few. SCCA shaped my life to a be a Road Racer, Turn worker, and then Vintage racer. As 1795 (Jim) said, I wish the best for the auction, if they had a raffle, I would of brought LOTS of tickets Cheers
