Glaspac Cobra

Good Evening All,
My Name is Alec. My father was one of the owners of a fiberglass company in Brasil called Glaspac. They manufactured Cobras in Brazil between 1981 and 1987. A large portion of the production went overseas (US, UK, Switzerland and one even went to Japan). 37 years after my dad sold his car I was finally able to track down a sound car here in Brazil and buy it. 3 years later, it is finaly getting to where I wanted it... fast stable and reliable. Anyway, I wanted to put this thread out there as it would be a privilage to find owners out side of Brazil (I have foind 22 cars here) and hear your stories. Hi @mranderson408, great to know that you have a Glaspac Cobra and that it is still going. Have you never had ir registered? I dont really have any marketing material, but I do have magazines (in portuguese) which contain all sorts of information including pricing.
I do have an invoice for the sale of an equivilent car from back in the day... the challenge is converting the value of brazilian money of the day to current values. Having said that, in the article (link attached) the reporter has made a value conversion which is easy to convert to modern day currencies.

Scrol down to to bottom of the article and in the spec sheet you will find the following statement:

Preço: março de 1982: Cr$ 3.800.000,00. Preço atualizado: R$ 239.096

Current ajusted value R$ 239,096 which roughly work out to U$ 44,277.

Which vehicle do these parts come from?
