Is your car among the first group of comp cars, that then became S/C's ?
There is one original 427 that I know of in this area, possibly others.
I have a Kirkham S/C which is identical to an original. You can see it @ TEDSCOBRA.COM
I'm in Sarasota.
TN Shelby Cobra likes this.

Maybe attending the SAAC national convention might give you a chance to get some photos of orignal 427SC cars. If a 427 SC is part of the concours show that might be an opportunity because there will be judges going over (and under the car). Maybe just meeting a concours judge could be useful as they might have their own collection of photos that could be useful to you.

I really don’t think that that is a true statement The body on a kirkham May be identical possibly even better than the original but the other parts on the car certainly not original or identical better perhaps but not identical

It depends on the Kirkham. Some of them have original style suspension that is supposed interchangable with an original Cobra. Some Kirkhams have fancy light weight billet aluminum suspensions that are different but bolt up to their orignal style frame. The more you make a Kirkham like an original style car, the more expensive it gets. There are supposedly some subtle differences that are not well known, but would allow an expert to tell apart a true original from a Kirham that is meant to look very original.

Original Cobra owners buy original style Cobra replacement parts from Kirkham. Rumor has it that some of the Kirkham Cobras are so original looking that they can masquade as original clone Cobras at fancy events like Goodwood, while the real million dollar car is safe at home in the owner's garage.

3040: Just trying to help. A little more info would be helpful as to what exactly do you need pictures of ?
Where in Fl are you located ?
My car is currently on my lift, stripped down for engine work. If you're not too far away
You are welcome to drive up to have a look/take pics.

Yep, take a trip and see the best collection of Cobras and GT40s in the world. Steven Volk has his SC there and it was restored in the last few years. I'm sure he would be glad to help you out.

Looking for a very small details like the space between the steering wheel and the dash, is there carpet on the back of the seats, is the inside of the door vinyl or carpet, are the doorhandles the same as an MG Or the aftermarket door latches,
How does the motor actually sit in the engine bay , what type of tape was used on the wiring harness lol I could go on and on but it’s a bunch of small crap like that and only a real cobra would have
