Default Front Quick Jack grommets...

Hi All,
I am on the hunt for some thinner grommets for my front quick jacks on a fiber body (about 1/4" thick in that area). I have the Finishline pill shaped ones with the angled hole, but they seem a bit large and I will need to file back the body a bit to get them to fit. Was hoping to find a full rounded version from the frontside to the backside through the bore, almost like would be used on a cable pass-through. Something with a larger diameter, that could be pushed in to fit the oval. I have some thin silicon ones on the rear which will be very discreet.

I was interested to read/see what everyone else is using for grommets.. ??

Thank you,
Mike

Hi SPDBRK,

Those are the ones I have and may be looking to replace...

I suppose I am looking for more of an O-Ring with a channel on the outside. Something just to dress the opening.

Mike

If your glass is too thick but the shape is correct you can cut the inboard section off leaving just the groove. Then glue it in place with black rtv and cleanup w/isopropyl.
