Here is an original jacket that I have from I believe 1963-1964 that they wore over their normal jackets when it rained.

So I had an older gentleman come up to me at a cruise in and admired the car for a while. As we talked he said his father was involved with the racing at riverside and stated he had it in a closet at home for all of these years.

I agree that I am very fortunate to have this in my possession. I reached out to the Shelby museum in Vegas to inquire if they had any idea how many of these were actually made or in use but have not heard back from anyone.

I doubt you will. Check with the Shelby American Collection in Boulder, CO.
