On the hunt once again
It's been over 9 years since I've owned a Cobra, we are not getting any younger, after much discussion (ok, not much discussion really needed), we have decided it's time for another. I've posted the following a little while ago in the classifieds, bringing it out here to the general forum for more exposure:
In search of an ERA Cobra replica
Heater, wipers, top, ERa spec "comp rear" a plus. Long term ownership a plus in my book. Not worried about how it is titled as long as it is not a salvage titled car.
Projects cars sitting off road and collecting dust will be considered, but prefer a nice, sorted, driving car for weekend trips with my wife.
Serious inquiries via PM or email through the forum preferred.
PS: May consider a SPF, but only a 289 streetside or FIA, no 427SC's

ERA 188, (BRG/Tan) from what I understand, is still in southeastern PA. I have an inquiry out through a 3rd party to see if it may be up for sale. Not holding my breath, but you never know.

Happy hunting Bill, no doubt you will come across a few viable candidates.
Please keep us posted as to what you wind up buying and how you like it.

188 not on the market, maybe in the future, but not now.
The hunt will continue.

I know he moved to the east coast Maybe SC?? White with Maroon stripe, 396 Roush small block, TKO-600 and Outboard rear disc brakes. I have his phone# Cheers Tom.

Bill, you should have Ron's phone# in your PM folder. Good luck, it's a very nice ERA 289FIA car. If he would have said, Yes it's for sale I would have brought it, but never got that far in our looooong talks. Cheers Tom.
