Great article about the beginnings of the Cobra
I'm sure some of you have seen this, but for those who haven't it's a great article about the very beginnings of the Cobra from a perspective not often heard about. Also, look after the article to the comments, someone has posted home videos from some of the earliest West Coast races the first Cobra's participated in.

Ed Hugus is an unsung hero of the Cobra! As mentioned in the article, there is a great book about Ed. CSX2001 was an East Coast car, first one sold to the public, by Ed, also one of the Double badged cars, AC badge and Shelby AC Cobra winged badge, on the nose and AC script badge and winged badge on the boot. I have never driven a cobra with 289ci in it, only the big block, cool looking car.
