Superformance Mk III Owners Manual
G'Day fellow Cobra addicts
I am in the processes of purchasing an early 2000's Superformance Cobra Mk III and would love to get a copy of an owners manual so that I might have a better idea of what I am looking at and what to look for.
I did find our friends at 'Second Strike' but at $USD 120 for a digital download I thought that's a bit stiff.
I also have a Ferrari 360 Spider and know what it is like to try to get genuine manuals. I bought a CD and now offer free copies of it and a wealth of other info on the 360 via a dropbox link on our local forum. I hate how people try to make money from things they never created nor owned.
Anyway hoping there may be a friendly out there that thinks as I do and has a copy of the Mk III manual handy

FYI The SecondStrike Owner's Manual has a lot of information that isn't included in the Superformance supplied manual. More info, more photos, more technical. There really isn't another source for the included info without a lot of research.
But it was written in 2008 and probably hasn't been updated.
There is also a Drivetrain Specifications Handbook that was published in 2012.
Just to be honest about the books, I am a bit prejudiced.

Truth be told that the Second Strike manual was written by Superformance owners that wanted to make huge improvements to the factory manuals. They put a tremendous effort into pulling it together, including soliciting other Superformance owners during the edit phase. If you’re going to spend $60-90K for a preowned Superformance, why are you sore over $120 to learn so much more about your car?

The Second Strike Owners Manual was written and assembled by Mike Stenhouse the owner of Second Strike LLC. And yes, he had assistance from Superformance, Hi-Tech and a select group of owners of which I am proud to be one.
I believe that the $120 is for a printed and bound book.

Ok I hear you all loud and clear, points taken. If it is as good as indicated I might need to give it a second look. And I shall be spending allot more than evn $90k unfortunately in Oz as Superformance cars, (particularly older more authentic ones) pull premium prices when they surface.
We currently have a black early 2000's Superformance GT40, with period correct naturally aspirated engine etc for sale here in Melbourne through a dealer, asking price $AUD 399k.
The problem is because of the changes in the now strict engineering regs for imported cars you can't import cars like this anymore nor can you build them like this anymore.
Now the car must comply to 2024 new car regulations and modern emissions controls so the early imports are highly sought after.

As long as the offered manual is not the "Second Strike" COPYRIGHTED manual, all is good. Just like when Leonardo saw that Guido Michelangelo was offering prints of some broad named Mona Lisa for 100 Lira that copyright became an issue.
Spend 90K on a car but not $120 on support for it.
I get it.
