Default Booklets

I just acquired these and was wondering if anyone knows when they were made. They look and smell old.

Nice find.

The first one that just says Cobra I'd guess '63-early '65 as it has the 1042 Princeton address.

The other, 427 Cobra, has the later 6501 W Imperial LAX address, guessing '65-66.

Cheers

Thank you so much for that info. Any idea what they are worth? I paid a whopping $11.11 with tax for both of them. Hope I didn't overpay. LOL

Well...

On Bring A Trailer this past March an original 427 Instruction manual like yours sold for $3800. Actually yours looks to be in better condition. The older AC Cobra manual might be worth even more.

Here's the link:

I'd say you did well at roughly $12.

Wow, I had no idea. I figured about $50 to $100 a piece. Better put them in my safe.

Cobra Make, Engine: Don't think I'll be getting a Cobra for a long time... Do have '94 RX-7 R2.

I have a reprint of the "Cobra 427" that is probably from the early 1980s. That probably looks and smells old because it is over 40 years old now.

If you read the comments on the bring a trailer auction, it mentions things that would help you determine if your manuals are original or reproduction versions.
