OOOOPS!!! Lost the last remaining original from-new Cobra owner...
Sorry folks, it was late and I was pretty groggy for the last couple of weeks... had COVID for two weeks when I posted this below
I was brain-dead so I got my wires crossed! My bad! Still recovering, but doing better.
It's a sad day, as we lost the last remaining original Cobra owner, jazz great Mr. Quincy Jones.
https://www.foxnews.com/entertainmen...truly-one-kind
I enjoyed some of his music... even played some of it! He will be missed.

Herbie Handcock owns CSX2006, making him the longest original owner after Carrol's passing, and he is still going strong and playing gigs! Cheers, Dennis

Yep! I had had COVID for two weeks to the day and was a little off - confused my musicians! Both great!
I fixed the original post to correct my error...

Paul,
No problem! I was just talking with a middle aged guy yesterday who had Covid two years ago and was saying that he still feels like his brain is in a fog and he doesn't think as clearly or quickly as he did before Covid. Take your time and get better.

No Biggie Paul, I believe that's the First mistake you ever made
Mr. Allen Grant caught Covid back in late 2019, he still feels the effects, his voice will never come back to the way it was.
Cheers Buddy, Tom.

Jim,
Long covid is a fact, sadly, I am afflicted with it after getting covid before the vaccines came out. Frustrating at times, as you have a perfectly good thought in the middle of a conversation, and then between your brain and your lips, it's gone, or you pause long enough that it's gone forever. Or you are talking about going out to breakfast at your favorite restaurant, one you have been going to for 10+ years on almost a daily basis, but the name does not come to mind, even though you can picture the sign in your head. Much worse than my ADHD has ever affected me...Like nothing I've ever experienced in my life. I feel for your friend, as even with my family connections in the healthcare field, there is little, if nothing found that can assist in treating the issue, other than for the affected individual to hit it head on and try to work on a solution themselves in some way shape or form.

Bill,
Sorry to hear that you too are affected by long-term Covid cognitive issues, my brother in-law is part of a research study looking into his long-term cognitive issues secondary to Covid. Keep the faith.

Jim,
It's not affecting me as hard as others, mostly during live, face to face conversations, but it is there, slowly eating away at everything but my automotive memories. Although, I did have to think for a few minutes while over at the other house (we are in temp housing due to non storm related wood flooring issues) trying to find where I put my cordless drill. Normally, I'd remember which cabinet it was in.

You guys are freakin' me out! I still have some inner ear fluid blockage or something... I had to fly home two days after my symptoms started, as I was on a business trip when it hit. Played hell with my ears, and they still aren't back to normal...

As with everything else, investigate, then adapt and overcome
