Default hiback seats

I am wondering if anyone has installed some hi back seats that are both comfratable and look somewhat ok in Cobra. I know it is not "origanal", but my butt and back are killing me. I'm really looking for a nice seat, not a racing type seat. Any suggestions?

Default Seats

A few of the guys have used seats from the auto toy store. Check out their link and browse to see if they have anything to fit the butt and ease the back.

A friend of mine is thinking about buying SPF seats for his FFR. The SPF seats have more padding, theory is they will be more comfortable.

Why do you thing a set of "high backs" would be more comfortable than a "low back" seat?

My Excalibur seats (they have a removable head rest) are quite thin on the bottom. And yet, I find them amazingly comfortable. So there is more going on here than just "padding", or all padding is not created equal.

Charcoal black from a Stealth. Yes, electronically adjustable on the drivers side, lumbar and bolsters too. Comfy, but you do sit a touch higher. I have a set of race seats to try. Little thinner on the bottom so I can sit lower. Looks are too subjective. They certainly are better at holding you in place on the track.

I am also looking for hiback seats for both driver and passenger. I have SPF seats. They look good and feel good except for the lack of lumbar support (I use extra padding on long trips to add back support). However, I want more shoulder, neck, and head support Improved lumbar support would be very useful.

I would like the support of a race type seat but want comfort for even long trips. My replica is a replica and not an original. For safety and confort, I am willing to "improve" on the original. I want support on the track and I want to avoid whiplash on the street and the track. Ideally, I would like a carbon fiber frame to provide support if an accident should ever occur. I do not want the seat to break when support is really needed. A functional leather or other covering would be nice.

Many race seats are too spartan. I want seats that can be used for daily driving and for long trips but have race seat support. Anyone have seats that they have used in a Cobra and recommend?

I also looked into seats from a Fiero, but the ones out of a Dodge Stealth were much more comfortable. Like I said, adjustable lumbar and side bolsters to boot. The race seats were given to me for free, so they are worth a try. I also saw the Mustang Cobra seats and they look pretty smilar to mine and have a Cobra embroidered on them.

Classic Roadsters have the best factory seats in the business. Lateral support, lumbar support, high backs, and head rests.

Looking for aftermarket seats that have these features, and will fit a Cobra, go to europaspares.com. They are in UK, and have a great selection of British sports car and sedan parts both OEM, and aftermarket.

I'm kinda fond of the Miata seats. Very comfortable, speakers in the headrests, and they fit well.
