Itstitts wiring harnesses

My Johnex has a wiring harness made by a company called HMI Assembly, and the common name of the harnesses is Itstitts. I believe the guy's name is Bob Holdridge. They used to be in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, but have either moved or closed up. Does anyone know anything about this supplier?

I've been to alot of car shows around Wisconsin. Most of the shows have wiring harness manufactures at them. I've never heard of them. Jim

I've tried the phone number and even called the Eau Claire Chamber of Commerce - no luck. It's as if they disappeared. Maybe they closed up or maybe they moved. It's a nice harness and was made specifically for the Johnex (or at least a standard was modified to suit).

In reply to the question about itstitts wiring harness, the manufacturer and owner of the company is a guy named Bob Holdridge. He innvented the general purpose wiring harness and while showing it at a car show some guy said "Its Titts" so Bob copyrighted the name and uses it on his harness. Bob has moved to Toledo Ohio.

The reason I know all of this: Bob and I worked together in the 70's at Continental Airlines in Los Angeles. We've kept in touch over the years. Bob is a very intelligent person, quick to pick up on things and I believe that HMI was formed to make wiring harnesses for a computer company. He is still a good friend, and I'm sure that Itstitts is a good harness. I considered using it when I rebuilt my 62 Austin Healey 3000. (I don't have it any longer, so don't ask) Needless to say, I used a stock harness and the car has been sold and shown at some really great concourse shows. Don Yarber, Morganfield, KY
