Default Cobra Hard Top

Although I don't think I would have a hardtop on mine, for anyone who is interested, D B Replicas in the UK make a really good one that includes a discrete hatchback so that you can still open the trunk (boot ).

Their website is www.v8cobra.com.

I know this is an old thread, but I've been trying to email DB replica's for about a month now with three emails, and no response from them.

Are they still in business? Their website is still up, but that may not mean anything.

I'm trying to get a price on their LeMans hardtop kit shipped to the southern US. I really hate to buy a phone card just to use for that little bit, but unless I can get an email to them I don't know how to get in touch.

Yes, Dave is still in business and his hard top is first class. I'll get a message to him. PM me your email address and I'll get it to Dave.

He's rather busy slagging off Crendons at the moment.
Im sure he'll be back to his main business shortly.

Put your handbag away Kevin, he's done no such thing.

He merely pointed out that as the gearbox wasn't visible, there were arguably other areas where your "originality itch" could be scratched before fretting over the gearbox.

My view is that if you've made the decision to go for a Toploader, you may as well get the "right" one.

I would like to have the info as well. I'm in the market for my Backdraft. Maybe an order for a couple of them would help get things moving.

Dave, I sent you a pm yesterday on this forum.

Just in case, I'll ask here. I need to know how much with shipping for the LeMans hardtop kit send to Alabama in the USA.............thanks.

Also, my Cobra is a Shell Valley kit, do you have any feedback with your top on these kits?

Hi.
Our hardtops are only designed to be fitted to the UK manufactured Dax and Pilgrim kits, but they have been modified fitted to Factory5 Mk3 and Mk4 cars, and a couple of other makes. but not to a Shell Valley car that I know of.
Crating and shipping to the USA is around £900 GBP (approx. $1500 US!!!)
